Recently, my fiancé and I have been talking about eating dinner from food trucks. Then my sister in law said she would be working this and I was like "LETS DO IT!" So the Shoreline Food Truck Festival happens on the last Saturday of every month in the First United Methodist Church parking lot (900 S. Shoreline Blvd.). Lots of food trucks and vendors in our community get together to bring us a huge variety of food, drinks, sweets and even crafters! This was a fun experience for all of us. We tried something savory, something sweet and many different drinks, all from different local businesses at the event.
•Fatty's Third Coast(savory)
Our first stop, HAD to be Fatty's. My fiancé has done work for the owner of this food truck and she's actually the one who runs this festival! Such a perfect way for local businesses to come together and support each other! I got to meet Charity for the first time at this event and she was the sweetest!

I ordered the Korean Corndog. It's an all beef hotdog, wrapped in mozzarella cheese, battered and breaded in potato and panko, topped with a sweet and spicy sauce and sesame seeds. It's absolutely delicious and quite filling actually! 8/10

My fiancé got the pork belly lollipop. Seasoned sweet and spicy pork belly on a stick. On the menu it said "Better than bacon", and I have to agree haha! 10/10 L: 9/10

•Drinks
Our drinks were kind of hard to track down. I got fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade. I'm not sure of the name of the stand, but they literally squeezed the lemons right in front of us. And it tasted amazing! So fresh and perfect for the amount of heat we were getting that day. 10/10

My fiancé got a Melon Agua Fresca. I did not try it cause I don't like melon lol. But he really enjoyed it! I'll just take his word for it haha!
So the name was on here but I couldn't find the social media. I'm glad I got the label at least!

Our last stop was this cute little donut truck that sells mini donuts, iced coffee and refreshers. Of course, I got some coffee and donuts! I asked what their best selling flavor was, and they told me the Birthday or the Cinnamon Dulce. I chose Birthday. But they also had Strawberry Shortcake, Fruity Pebbles and Cookies n Cream. I LOVED the birthday though. The toppings look like a lot, but the donut itself isn't that sweet so it balances out perfectly. And the circus animal crackers are the PERFECT touch. Nostalgic! 8/10

Like I said, they also had iced coffee, so YES! I got one. A caramel one. It was amazing! It tasted like the coffee my grandmother used to make me. And it was topped with another donut for the most adorable affect. I didn't get to eat it cause my daughter got to it first lol. But she loved it! And I loved the coffee. 9/10

The 3 of us really enjoyed the experience. And we did NOT spend as much as we expected for all the we tried. We can't wait to go again and keep on trying new things. Make sure to refer to the posts on my socials so you can follow these local businesses and keep up with where they are at!
