Mommy & Me at Bien Mérité

My sweet daughter and I are blessed to have some undivided "us" time on Mondays. I do my best to make the most out of every single second. This last Monday, I took her out to lunch and we tried this new, adorable little spot.

Bien Mérité has been all over my Facebook lately. What's caught my eye each time, is the fact that the entire place is pretty much pink! They have this beautiful pink floral wall(meant for photo ops, of course) and I just knew this a pot would be perfect for "mommy & me" time.

Delicious food, amazing baked good, the most adorable atmosphere. They even have a whole croissant bar that they're known for! And there's tea time! I didn't get to ask about it this time, but my bestie and I are definitely going to come in for a tea party with our girls!

So we went in around lunchtime, and there was like NO ONE there. One couple across the way and then like a few people, in and out. It was enjoyable to not have to worry about waiting for the perfect picture time. The staff was so friendly to us and especially to my daughter. She even made a friend out of one of the waitresses.

Are y'all ready to hear about what we tried? Me too.

French Mocha

So for the coffee, I ordered an iced French Mocha. The description said "with real chocolate" and that just sounded delicious to me. If you like strong coffee with chocolate, like me, you'll enjoy this! 7/10

Tomato Basil Pasta

This was outstanding! I loved it so much! The pesto was my favorite part. So flavorful. Not like other pestos I've tried. There was no meat, and that's okay. It was just a light lunch option, but it was totally filling for me! Yummy! 10/10

Chocolate Tart

For dessert, I had the BEST chocolate tart. The filling was so lucious and smooth. And the crust was the perfect combination of sweet and buttery. I didn't finish it, but y'all know I took it home, along with other amazing treats! 9/10

Goodies We Took Home

Of course we went back up and got a box to take home! Are you crazy? Who wouldn't??

First, we have a seasonal cheesecake. I'm not sure what the flavor on top was, some sort of berry, but it amazing! I love cheesecake! 10/10

Then, there's a chocolate moose cup. The cup itself is made of white and dark chocolate and then filled with chocolate mousse and topped with berries. It was super awesome as a late night sweet snack. The moose was super smooth and the perfect amount of sweet. 8/10

Lastly, I got a salted caramel brownie. It was topped with caramel and brownie pieces. There was nuts on the top. It was such a great brownie. Not to sweet. Not overly salty. Gooey like a brownie should be! 8/10

They're open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. everyday. The staff was amazing. The food was great. We had so much fun together. Thank you Bien Mérité for such a great experience! We will be back!
