Now, this one was AMAZING yall! The only thing that was missing, was mushrooms! Unfortunately, my hunny's stomach gets weird about mushrooms so I can't ever cook with them. Please feel free to sauté some up and throw it in the sauce and let me know how it tastes in the comments!!! With or without the mushrooms, this recipe is still the bomb!
Ingredients
1lb ground beef
salt and pepper
1 small white onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 c. beef broth
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. dijon mustard
2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
1 1/2 c. egg noodles, cooked
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Cook and crumble ground beef, on medium-high heat, for 3 minutes in a large skillet. Add onions and cook until ground beef is fully cooked, about another 3-4 minutes.

3. Drain the grease, then add garlic and cook for 1-2 more minutes, until fragrant.
4. Stir in butter until melted. Sprinkle flour and mix to incorporate. Cook for 2 minutes.

5. Add the broth in splashes, stirring continuously in between. Use a silicone spatula to clean the bottom of the pan.

6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Add in Worcestershire sauce, mustard, peas and half the cheese.

7. Let the sauce simmer while you boil the pasta.

8. Boil it for one minute less than al dente then add it to the sauce.

9. Top with remaining cheese. Cover and bake for 20 minutes.
10. Serve hot and enjoy!

Tips & Tricks
Like I said, mushrooms. That was the only thing missing here. I don't really know if traditional stroganoff has mushrooms, but
When sprinkling the flour(making the roux), make sure you sprinkle and stir a little at a time to ensure your gravy doesn't become too thick. The consistency should be grainy, not too thick and not too thin. Almost like mashed potato consistency.
Cheddar MIXED with some mozzarella is a great combination for this recipe. Always make sure you shred it yourself. The cheese melts smoother and makes the consistency creamier.

Ive always wanted to know how to make this! Thanks!
This looks delicious! I need to try it myself!
Great, you are spot on with execution. Egg noodles are the best for this.
